MICHELLE EPISODE 7

 It was finally resumption day, girls looked pretty and boys looked handsome, everyone was looking fresh because it was resumption! Michelle said her prayers shortly before leaving the house. Her father drove her to school. "If you do so well this term, we'll go for a vacation to a very wonderful place, and make sure you avoid Boy-Drama" Her father adjusted her necktie. She smiled on hearing the word "vacation" , their last vacation was to United Kingdom, it was 3 years ago, Michelle had smashed her BECE ( Basic Education Certificate Examination) she had all Distinctions! "Father, I cross my chest, I promise I'd do well this term, and I'll do my best to avoid troubles" she said blinking her lashes in a mischievous way. She gave him a warm hug and opened the car door, she swayed her waist as she walked. "That uniform of hers is undersized, we'll buy a new one "  he said scratching his head . 

"Hello, Hi, happy resumption!" She kept waving to most people she saw , she was head girl anyways and was extremely popular. She crossed paths with Sarah and She sneered at her. She saw Henry and felt relieved. "Hi, Cinderella, how are you?" Henry said in his usual calm tone. "I'm very well, I'm okay, I'm calm, as you can see" she flashed her teeth, and a wide grin came out. They held hands and walked to class. Everything was normal, everyone was paying attention to English class when a question was asked "What is the difference between a phrase and a subordinate clause? They share similar characteristics if I'm not mistaken " The English teacher said in an accent that sounded somehow British and Nigerian. The class was calm, so quiet, no one knew the answer, nobody knew what to say. Sarah attempted to answer the question, but her answer came out wrong. "Everyone tear out a sheet of paper! You're about to write your CA, in not less than 2,000 words, write an expository essay telling me why you do not know the correct answer to my question, mind you, you'll have to put down the question and the answer as well. It's 30 Marks , and be reminded that this term, we're writing MOCK exams that will determine if you can sit for SSCE or not. You have 30 minutes to submit, remember not less than 2000 words , everyone get to work!" He said and heaved a sigh of relief. 

Henry looked at Michelle, Michelle looked at Henry. The English teacher ended his teachings and left with his books. He instructed the class captain to gather the test scripts and bring it to him in exactly 30 minutes. Michelle immediately left her chair to meet Henry. "What a ridiculous test!" He exclaimed. " What a great way to start a term!" Michelle said smiling, but feeling bad in her head. "Let's get to work immediately" Henry said . They figured things out and were able to know the difference between a phrase and a subordinate clause.   "Teamwork, teamwork" Michelle said raising her eyebrows and giving him a thumbs up. Sarah was sitting alone, she felt so jealous, she wanted to just faint 😂. "Why is the new term starting like this? What have I done to deserve all this bitterness?" She thought. 

She now did something very silly. She went over to Henry. "Henry, can I work with you? I don't really know the answer, please I don't want to loose 30 Marks " she winked at him. Her looks annoyed Michelle, Sarah had done corn rows and used edge control aggressively on her new hair, she thought it made her beautiful, but no, it made her look hilarious. Her lip combo was something else, she wore excessive makeup and looked like a mini Witch. "I'm sorry but I have a partner already, you should ask my partner for permission, if it's okay by her, then it's okay by me as well " Henry said . "Michelle, please may I join you?" Came Sarah's voice. "I'll pass, you may not join us , there are other people you could work with " Michelle said . She was only remembering how Sarah had humiliated her all through the holidays in the class group chat. Sarah was embarrassed and left , Henry mimicked her voice and Michelle burst into laughter.  

Sarah rushed into the girls restroom and washed her face , her eyes were turning red, she was feeling tensed and had barely 15 minutes to finish the test, she ended up submitting an empty script. She was still pondering on the text Henry sent to her. She hated Michelle with everything in her, she remembered how Michelle had turned her request down, she bit her lips and snapped her fingers. She adjusted her skirt and made sure it was way above her knee, indecent dressing gave her joy. She loved to expose herself. She was thinking of what to do to Michelle, she was thinking and thinking...
